Story Time Part 2

Remember Peter? Well, the entire time that Edgar and Louise had been getting super close, he had also been keeping in touch with Louise. He rarely texted Edgar, but he always seemed to be texting someone else (usually Louise, but sometimes his girlfriend and other people). Edgar was a bit jealous of this fact, but he knew that it was a childish thing to be jealous about, so he just ignored it and moved on. But one night, Edgar was hanging out at Peter's house and watching TV. Edgar got bored with the TV and decide to talk to Peter, but lo and behold, Peter was furiously texting Louise about his problems with his girlfriend. Edgar sat behind Peter and read the texts, all the while wondering why Peter wasn't talking to him. They told each other everything, didn't they? Edgar told Peter everything and Peter said that he told Edgar everything, but did he? Obviously not. So, Edgar shifted his position a little and Peter looked up and said, "Oh yeah, you're here."
Edgar, recognizing the sarcasm, laughed it off, but when Peter turned back to his phone, Edgar was hurt. Peter had just recognized that he was ignoring Edgar and continued doing it.
Then Peter and his girlfriend broke up. They had been arguing a lot and there was jealousy on both ends and the whole situation was not good. However, Edgar didn't know any specifics about anything. Peter had told Louise all of those things, but not Edgar. Edgar hated to admit it, but he felt as though he was being replaced by Louise.
Edgar brought up his feelings to Peter, who basically told him that he could see why that would be the case. And that was it. Edgar felt as though his feelings were justified at this point.
Peter and Louise noticed that something was very wrong with Edgar, but they did not know what. Most of the conversations between either Louise and Edgar or Peter and Edgar began with "What's Wrong?" or "I know something's bothering you." But the thing was, Edgar didn't fully know what was wrong. He knew he wanted his friendships back to normal and he knew that he was confused as to why they got messed up, but there were other feelings too.

And at this point, Darwin lost all motivation to continue. Bummer. Maybe later.
